I think you ramp up slower by rushing medias, but it pays off as they are more than decent when it comes to fighting. I rushed getting medias out as soon as possible, only adding minors when it seemed like I didn't have enough minims to deal with waste/leaves. I just finished that one today on hard! I did something different than most people, I think.
